Tiziano Panici is part of a project that has many minds, many parents, and many protagonists. Dominio Pubblico - La Città agli Under 25 (Public Domain – The City to the Under 25) is a multi-disciplinary festival, started in 2014 and now in its fourth year.

It is aimed only at young adults, its artistic direction is shared between Tiziano Panici and Francesco Frangipane for the Teatro Argot Studio, Fabio Morgan for the Teatro dell’Orologio and Luca Ricci for Kilowatt Festival. “Synergy and network” are two key words to understanding its nature.

«In an event-city, it is surprising how the theatre community is petering out», this is how Tiziano explains that, starting from this thought, Luca Ricci was the first to have the idea of creating a training programme for a young, aware and capable public.

The basic concept is that of active spectators, the result, 4 years after the first edition, is a tangible example of artistic and managerial co-working.

The call for participation is public and from December to May participants have the chance to try out all the areas involved in putting together a cultural festival.

They are trained in the tools allowing them to process and spread a call aimed at artists of the same generation, and then manage the festival in all its aspects. A strong experience that is actually training-in-the-field in cultural management.

Recognised as a promotional reality by MiBACT – The Ministry for cultural heritage and activities and tourism, Dominio Pubblico is held from May to June at Teatro Argot Studio, Teatro dell’Orologio and Teatro India. The 2016 edition saw 5 sold out sessions and filled 9 rooms with very young spectators and operators, proving its uniqueness yet again.

The project can count on a community of 300 young people who trained from 2014 to 2017 through the Spettatori Attivi (Active Spectators) course. Currently a team of 9 Under 25s is working permanently on the project.
