The Unipolis Foundation announces the national call for "culturability - regenerating spaces to be shared" to support innovative projects in the cultural and creative field that favor processes of regeneration, recovery and revitalization of disused spaces or, at the moment, with other uses, determining a positive social impact for the reference communities.
The rebirth and reuse of urban and non urban "vacuums", of buildings, industrial sites, abandoned or underutilized areas starting from culture and creativity, is a subject of relevant relevance, which is assuming an increasing quantitative and qualitative dimension.
With this call, the Unipolis Foundation provides resources for a total of 450 thousand euros, divided into economic contributions for the development of selected projects, provision of training and support services for the empowerment of the proposing teams, reimbursement of expenses for participating in the activities of support.
The call is open until April 20, 2018. Among the proposals received and assessed eligible, 15 projects will be selected that will benefit from a first phase of training and mentoring activities.
Following the presentation of a further and more complete dossier, among these will be selected 6 projects, which will benefit from a further individual accompaniment path and a non-refundable financial contribution of 50 thousand euro each, to implement the proposed activities for the development of the project.
Thanks to the collaboration started in 2017, the Directorate General for Contemporary Art and Architecture and Urban Suburbs of the Ministry of Heritage and Cultural Activities and Tourism will provide the Unipolis Foundation with additional economic resources (50 thousand euros).
