Postcards from the future | Today I write about tomorrow, if I will be 20 in 2020

A challenge of imagination where the participants tell who they will be and how will change through a story, a diary or a letter in 2020. What is the track to follow? "Invent a situation where, in a few years, putting your stuff in order, you will find an object of yours as a teenager: a mobile phone, a school diary, a photo, a ticket to a concert. Get inspiration from this to think about who you are now and how you could become". This is the subject of "Premio Scriviamoci. 20 ANNI NEL 2020: Tell us how you are, how you will be', a competition open to high school students from all over Italy and abroad. This is an opportunity to tell who you are, or rather, who you want to become, what your dreams and plans for the future are.

A competition to think about our future

Give free rein to creative writing to rediscover the talent and dreams that are inherent in all of us through an narrative adventure that is not only a literary competition: it is a warning to look at the mirror and figure out who we want to become in the future through the analysis of the present. A cultural investment, sponsored by the Center for the book and reading in collaboration with Fondazione Maria and Goffredo Bellonci with the support of SIAE - Italian Society of Authors and Publishers. The papers (maximum five per school) should be sent by the teacher in charge at scriviamoci@fondazionebellonci.it by March, 24.

The prizes

The best stories, selected by Fondazione Bellonci, will be published on Scriviamoci 2016/2017 agenda, published by Giulio Perrone Editore and presented at the awards ceremony that will be held in July in Rome during the final evening of the LXX edition of Premio Strega. In addition to the SIAE license plate, three texts will respectively receive: the whole series of Premio Strega winners since 1947, published by Mondolibri, a two days training course at the shop Finzioni in Bologna and the participation for two people to an Italian literary festival.
