Life in prison often means living the same day everyday. A bore and a psychic discomfort that is not good for the mood, the mind and the desire to take one's own life, which should be left to everyone, even to those who did something wrong. Thus the association Sanguegiusto was founded by Ludovica Andò and Sarah Sammartino. The first founder graduated from Dams as a professional community educator for years alongside the activity of teaching theater in socially disadvantaged contexts. The second founder is an actress, writer and director, specializing in anthroposophic art therapy and energy medicine treatments. The association specializes in artistic-educational interventions in the prison of Civitavecchia and kicked off with workshops spanning various aspects of creativity. It ranges, in fact, from theater to folk singing to drawing and painting courses. All workshops are aimed at both male and female prisoners. The idea of the association and its work guide is an affirmation of Berthold Brecht: "All the arts contribute to the greatest art of all, to live." Providing the cultural and creative stimuli in these contexts is not easy, but once triggered the mechanism, even in prison, they may encourage reflection and distraction, educating commitment and self-discipline, as well as self-analysis, to take responsibility towards oneself and others. An invitation to act and to react.
