Creative professionals know it. When an idea comes to your mind and you are working on a project you cannot leave your desk or computer, which inevitably becomes your dining table. And there are lots of tables that "carry on" the unmistakable marks of American coffee cups.
Anticafé was born out of this way of living and working. It is a place where you can drink a coffee or a juice, or eat healthy food, but you do not have to pay for them. What you pay for, in fact, it is the time spent in the coffee when you can use tables and chairs and have the chance to organize meetings, to learn about other creatives, to interact and, of course, to use internet connection. The place is located in Rome's San Giovanni neighborhood, and special attention is payed to the atmosphere and furniture as well as to hot and cold drinks, food and wifi. It is equipped with printers, games, books, blackboard, projector and a meeting room for private meetings.
It is as comfortable as staying at home, but without isolate yourself from the rest of the world while working (and without having to even lift up to make a coffee!); you can meet real and "virtual people". Rates vary according to the time spent in the room, but there are also subscriptions to save money. Anticafé is also open every day, including Saturdays and Sundays, and even during national holidays. There are no excuse for not working or being antisocial!
