In a pleasant medieval village, since more than 50 years, there is a studio generated by tastefulness and refinement of Italian handicraft. Carlo and Rita Turri welcomed us in their ancient studio, that is situated in front of the residence of Pope Boniface VIII. Here time stood still the Renaissance, when Italian expert masters created refined artworks by using ebony. The workshop Tarsie Turri still keeps almost the processing techniques used in the XIV century: in fact several types of wood are framed in snap-fit tiles to assemble a given design.

Processing techniques continue by creating the most polished designs thanks to veining and shades of more than one hundred types of natural carved wood.This art is able to give an ideal spatial and perspectival representation to every inlay work particulars. Marquetry transforms every day, reinvents itself and creates exquisitely Italian handicraft, also thanks to a special sharp knife used for wood inlay. This technique is a source of pride for Italian cabinet-making.

The exquisite handmade professionalism allows the Turri family to deal with an creative manufacture, that is able to detaches from the Renaissance furniture models. Care details and three-dimensional chromatic research beget an accurate production of classical, contemporary or modern ornamental motifs. The refined care produces eminent orders and luxury interior design.
