4 million euros
The Lazio Region launches a notice to promote new STARTUPS by 4 million euro funded by ERDF Por-European funds from 2014 to 2020.
The goal is to strengthen the startups ecosystem of Rome and Lazio, enhance and improve best practices, help attract new investors, support the spinoff of research for technology transfer, as well as intensify the relationship between research, innovation and enterprise. The contribution is aimed at supporting two types of activity: the start-ups founded by the spin-off of research and knowledge-intensive innovative startups.
The granting of the contributions depends on the type of activity: for research spin-off firms, with a contribution ranging from € 10,000 to € 100,000; for knowledge-intensive innovative startups, the contribution covers 100% of the capital provided by shareholders, € 10,000 to € 30,000.
The requests must be submitted at the charge door, according to the order of arrival of requests that can be submitted via the portal GeCoWEB starting from 12 noon on April 20, 2017.
The eligible projects must belong to the areas identified in the Smart Specialization Regional Strategy and knowledge-intensive sectors. In detail, projects must be based on an innovative solution to propose on the market, already identified at the time of presentation of the project, even if to be consolidated and have the members and / or a team with technical and managerial capacities that provide for its commitment to the project development.
The resources will be divided for the two types of activity, the sum of 2,500,000 Euros will be used initially to support the spin-off of the research. And 1.5 million euro in the Innovative Startup support.
After six months from the date of the opening, the possibly remaining resources will be made available without distinction for the two types of intervention.
