On the occasion of the national "Non-profit re-generation" event, held last October in Bologna and promoted on the occasion of its eleventh birthday, the CON IL SUD Foundation launches a new photographic contest. The theme of the competition is the South which is "re-generated" through the contribution of young people and civil society.
The social initiative was created to build a photo report, which can offer an image of a South capable of change. The "Re-generation" aims at the process of recovery and improvement of its territory, through the interaction between different generations and the search for creative and innovative solutions in different fields: environmental, cultural, social, entrepreneurial, urban or rural.
The initiative is free and you can participate by sending by December 15, 2017 to the e-mail address open to all firstname.lastname@example.org which must be accompanied by the name and surname of the author, location of the shot, possible caption, signed for release the use of images and respect of copyright and privacy rules, the photographs must be in digital JPG format, using a good graphic resolution (300 dpi). In the case of emails with attachments exceeding 5mb, it is recommended to use one of the various free services available online for sending large files.
In addition, participants can share on their social profiles (facebook, twitter, instragram) a photo among those sent to the contest using the hashtag #Rigenerazioneconilsud. At the end of the contest, the photo that has received more interactions on social media will be printed in poster format (60 x 75), distributed free to institutions, non-profit organizations, citizens and used as a cover on the Facebook page of Fondazione CON IL SUD for a determined period, obviously giving ample space to the author of the shot. The most interesting photos will be reserved a POSTER format space (60x75cm) within "Experiences with the South", which will send free to thousands of recipients (institutions, foundations, associations, media, citizens) and that can be requested through the Foundation website.
